We earned our keep with some manual labor, landscaping the front yard (we did the backyard last year). We went to a children’s museum and out to lunch. Most of us braved the earlier morning Thanksgiving highs of eighty plus degrees to attend a local a turkey dash (some of us even ran, not that I have pictures to prove it, cause the guy who was watching the kids was taking picture of them and not the runners).

There was lots of cousin bonding time during the day and plenty of grown-up game time in the evenings. There may have even been an impromptu underwear swim in the pool due to unseasonably warm temps and parents who didn’t think to pack bathing suits in November. We enjoyed good food and good company. Thanks to Pa & Nana for letting us come yet again. We always enjoy when the family gets together!
