I was horrified to discover that we had taken barely any
pictures this month, including during our trip down to Dad’s for
Thanksgiving. Oops!

But that doesn’t mean that we have nothing to be thankful
for. Actually, if anything, it means we
have an overabundance of things that make us thankful. Here’s just a few …
A loving husbandFour wonderfully rambunctious childrenThe unconditional love of my Heavenly Father and the priceless gift of his SonKnowing my family is foreverLiving (so) close to so many family membersBeing a cast-free household once again!Having a job (especially one that allows us to live wherever we want)Our house (that’s slowly starting to feel more like our home)A bigger backyardFour seasons!!!Dear friends (those we had to leave behind as well as the new ones we’re making)Cars that are (mostly) worry-free and take us where we want to goAnd I can’t forget to be thankful for such a sweet running buddy whenever we’re down at Dad’s

“The happiest people I know are not those who find their
golden ticket; they are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover
and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments. They are the ones
who, thread by daily thread, weave a tapestry of gratitude and wonder throughout
their lives. These are they who are truly happy.” Dieter F. Uchtdorf,
‘Forget Me Not’ (Oct 2011)
