The Meme Challenge

It seems practically unavoidable. Observe… Unwritten Rule # 57: Those residing at least part-time in the blogging world must cave at least once and post a meme. But, luring people with the promise of more weblog hits? Now that’s truly unfair. How can a newbie like me resist an offer like that? And so, I fold to pressure. But I refuse to “tag” anyone else. This chain-letter type meme obsession has got to stop.

Four Jobs I’ve Had:
1. Office Manager in a campus student employment center (about 14,000 hires processed in about a month and first trimester pregnant – can you say fun?!)
2. Marketing Assistant/Graphic Designer at a construction company
3. Telemarketer for half a day (Shouldn’t they be required to tell you at the temp agency that they’re sticking you in a call center? They didn’t…)
4. Daycare Worker for something like two days while the operator, a friend of the family, recovered from surgery. (Side note: Both days I called my mother hysterically asking her to come help me. Such foreshadowing of parenthood!)

Four Movies I Would Watch Over and Over:
1. Hero or To Live
2. The Philadelphia Story
3. Knick Knack – sometimes I just really relate to Nick, plus the music is just so fun!
4. While You Were Sleeping – the Callahan’s makes my life look a little more normal

2. Pizza - especially from Ralph & Rosie's
3. Garlic Crusted Shrimp Caesar Salad
4. Italian Nachos (Bella Napoli) - I'm crushed that they stopped making them

Four Places I Would Rather Be Right Now:
1. Back in NY
2. The Smoky Mountains
3. Anywhere with four discernable seasons
4. Someplace where kids aren't crying (is fifteen minutes asking too much?)
