Dylan-isms

A few captions from the mouth of our babe:

  • Dyl leaned back in his car seat on Sunday, hands behind his head, waiting to be buckled in and said, “Ah, it’s a perfect day for going to church.”

  • After delivering a loaf of bread to a man who gives Alexander rides to meetings, Dyl said, “It felt good giving him bread.”

  • When he woke up this morning, Dyl promptly stood on his head on his pillow and then hopped off his bed, ran over to Alexander and whispered, “The hippopotamuses and the giraffes were too noisy. But the bears were just right.”

I love it! I wish I would capture more of the "isms" of my boys. The last one especially made me laugh = )

Do you know what it's like to be hot and sweaty and suddenly a cool breeze brushes against you? That's how it is with "isms". We rush about - all involved in our busy lives and suddenly a pure, refreshing remark comes from a little child. Enjoy the cool breezes! And thanks for sharing yours with those of us whose children are now rushing about with busy lives of their own! Mama's mama
