The Limits of Imagination

Lately, I’ve been pumping the kids for their Halloween costume choices. It may seem early, but we like to make our costumes around here. Which takes time. And decisiveness. Both of which are in short supply.

So, when Maddy decided on Dora {and stuck with it for several weeks running}, who was I to disagree. Her brothers, however, took a different view. When I told them that she wanted to dress-up as Dora, the former astro-droids, jedis, and boy wizards replied, “She can’t be Dora. She’d have to have a humongous head!”
