We belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After our children turn eight, they can choose to be baptized and become official members themselves. We’re so pleased that Elijah made this decision. He had a wonderful baptismal service today. And we were so glad that Pa & Nana were able to come share his special day.
And what birthday would be complete without a cake? This year, Lij wanted an Obi-Wan s’mores cake.
It’s not everyday I get to practice my flesh-tone frosting coloring skills!
And it’s not everyday that my oldest turns eight, either.
