Well, sprung might be the wrong word since it just snowed last week, but
it’s definitely springing, at least. And
we’ve been enjoying the more temperate weather at our favorite outdoor spot… Grandpa’s.

We’ve also entered the brave new
world of pinewood derbies. Three boys
and at least one competitive streak a mile wide? Heaven help us!

April is certainly a birthday month
for our family. Lij and Maddy are both
April babies. Then there’s also Nana and
my sister’s birthdays, plus an aunt, three cousins, three nephews, and two
nieces. I’m profoundly glad I don’t have
to make cakes for all of them. Two is
plenty for one month.
