A Short Post – Really

I firmly believe that merely being pregnant is enough to bear at any given time. Because of this, there should be a statute of limitations on being any other kind of “ill” while pregnant. Such a statute unfortunately doesn’t exist. In fact, quite the contrary.

I have been sick more during my three pregnancies than at any other time in my life. And believe me, adjusting to all Alexander’s new germs had me pretty sick our first year of marriage. Not to mention instructing classrooms full of carrier monkeys during my semester student teaching. I was thoroughly sick then too. But pregnancy beats them all. Including me.

By the way, I would really like to have the intense and throbbing pain that has been present behind my left eye for three days now vacate the premises immediately. I am too busy to play host right now.

Fortunately, finding a doctor has not been that difficult. Unfortunately, pretty much everything medicinal is strictly taboo while a bun’s in the oven.

Therefore, I’ll say it again: Can I get that statute of limitations now?

Thank you. That is all.

Your eye pain sounds miserable! I hope you feel better soon.

Oh, I hope you feel better soon! I agree. Having your own personal parasite (although a loved and wanted parasite) is more than enough for anyone to bear.

Take care of yourself.

I would grant it to you if I could. Those little parasites sure suck it out of you, but we love em anyway.
